We'd genuinely rather hear about a problem than have you walk away quietly. Here's how to raise it and what happens next.
How to make a complaint
Send us the details by email at complaints@whynotsellit.com.au, or send us a text on the same number you dealt with during your sale. Tell us what happened, when, and what you'd like to see happen as a result. If you've got reference details, a date, a rego, a name, include them; it helps us move faster.
What we'll do
- Acknowledge that we've received your complaint.
- Look into what happened, which may mean talking to the person you dealt with here.
- Come back to you with an explanation and, where we've got something wrong, a proposed fix.
We don't promise a fixed number of days for this, because complaints vary. A quick misunderstanding is different from something that needs us to check records or speak to a third party. What we do promise is that you'll hear from us and that we won't leave you chasing.
If you're not satisfied
If you don't think we've resolved things properly, you can escalate to the Queensland Office of Fair Trading, which regulates motor dealers in this state. They can be reached through their website or by phone, and can help where a dealer and a customer can't reach agreement on their own.
We're not precious about this
Being a licensed dealer means being accountable, and we take that seriously. If we've made a mistake, we'd rather know and put it right than have it become a reason someone tells their friends to avoid us.
