Terms of Use
Last updated 1 August 2026. These terms apply whenever you use whynotsellit.com.au. Using the site means you accept them.
No offer until a licensed dealer says so, in writing
Nothing on this website — including anything generated while playing the garage — is itself an offer, a valuation, or a guarantee of what we'll pay for your vehicle. A genuine offer exists only once a licensed motor dealer has personally reviewed your vehicle and communicated a specific figure to you in writing, such as by SMS.
Information you provide must be accurate
Any offer we make relies on the accuracy of the information and photos you give us, including condition, history, kilometres and any prior write-off or damage. If information turns out to be inaccurate or incomplete, we may withdraw or revise an offer, including after it has been made.
We may decline any vehicle
We're not obliged to make an offer on any vehicle, and we may decline to proceed at any stage before settlement, for any lawful reason.
Intellectual property
The website, its design, text, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. You may view and use the site for your personal, non-commercial purpose of considering a sale to us, but you may not copy, reproduce or repurpose the site's content without our permission.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your consumer rights are not affected
These terms don't limit any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that can't be excluded by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
